چکیده
Abstract Background Lipid panel assays are used to calculate LDL-C as a proxy for cardiovascular disease risk. Further investigations required classify the patient’s dyslipidemia into phenotype assist with management. We explored information contained within lipid two aims: First, estimate risk directly, bypassing calculation. Second, provide novel phenotypic classification system. Methods Various transformations of data were inputs logistic regression model risk, and produce spherical coordinate system phenotyping. Deriving the Exact Cost Function for a Two-Level Inventory System with Information Sharing
In this paper we consider a two-level inventory system with one warehouse and one retailer with information exchange. Transportation times are constant and retailer faces independent Poisson demand. The retailer applies continuous review (R,Q)-policy. The supplier starts with m initial batches (of size Q), and places an order to an outside source immediately after the retailer’s inventory posit...
متن کاملGeneralised Perspective Shape from Shading in Spherical Coordinates
In the last four decades there has been enormous progress in Shape from Shading (SfS) with respect to both modelling and numerics. In particular approaches based on advanced model assumptions such as perspective cameras and non-Lambertian surfaces have become very popular. However, regarding the positioning of the light source, almost all recent approaches still follow the simplest geometric co...
متن کاملDeriving Private Information from Randomly Perturbed Ratings
Collaborative filtering techniques have become popular in the past several years as an effective way to help people deal with information overload. An important security concern in traditional recommendation systems is that users disclose information that may compromise their individual privacy when providing ratings. Randomized perturbation schemes have been proposed to disguise user ratings w...
متن کاملDeriving Information Requirements from Responsibility Models
This paper describes research in understanding the requirements for complex information systems that are constructed from one or more generic COTS systems. We argue that, in these cases, behavioural requirements are largely defined by the underlying system and that the goal of the requirements engineering process is to understand the information requirements of system stakeholders. We discuss t...
